THE PERSON:
- Trade qualified mechanic or auto electrician
- Previous experience managing a busy workshop and staff is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and maintain technicians billed hours
- Ability to deal with customers and suppliers
- Ability to lead staff
- Positive and proactive personality
- Drivers licence essential
- Inspectors ticket highly desirable
- Forklift licence desirable
THE JOB:
- Running the workshop floor
- Strong focus on managing staff, coordinating job management and recording billed hours and parts
- Allocating jobs and meeting deadlines
- Opening and closing job cards
- Ordering parts
- Great opportunity for growth for the right candidate
- Hours generally Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
- Half day Saturday 8am - 12 noon is required
