Newly built Truck Service Centre South of Wollongong looking for a Foreman keen to join and lead the workshop.
Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for a self-motivated, customer service-focused and business-oriented Service Manager.
About the role
The foreman is responsible for keeping an even flow of work throughout the day in the workshop by planning, monitoring and controlling all repairs.
Duties
- Prioritising vehicle inspections in an efficient manner
- Road testing vehicles after work completion and with customers with diagnostic concerns
- Carry out diagnostic work
- Communicate and work together with the manufacturer
- Be the leader of the workshop, and mentor the team.
- Organizing, issuing purchase orders and controlling sublet repairs
- Liaising closely with the technicians and service advisors regarding available capacity and capability versus required
- Maintaining and enhancing quality processes and dealer product reports
- Must be a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Good communication skills
- Dedicated to providing exceptional service
- Must be a team player
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret service performance
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the service technicians and apprentices
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong truck knowledge and experience.
This is a purpose-built Service Facility with adequate staffing and skill levels.
You will join a service and management team to support you in achieving your goals.
