Our client is an Australian business specializing in sales, service, parts, fleet management, AdBlue, and finance across the entire range of trucks and buses. Just Automotive Recruitment is in search of an experienced Service Advisor that will join their team in Derrimut. You will act as the primary contact between the company and the customer for repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate interpretation and prompt resolution of customer needs.
The Job:
- Greet and assist customers in person or by phone and determine the customer’s needs and vehicle data
- Document customer needs accurately via repair orders and define the scope and type of work required
- Book appointments according to customer needs and workshop utilization capacity
- Define and explain time and costs to be expected/necessary and clarify the method of payment
- Coordinate the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer, ensuring any warranty claims, warnings or disclaimers are understood and obtain their approval
- Present service offers to customers, and offer additional services, benefits and/or parts at every opportunity
- Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- Maintain sound working relationships with all members of the service department
- Work in conjunction with other team members/departments as required
- Participate in training & development activities as arranged
- Coordinate special order parts bookings in conjunction with the parts department
- Record daily up-sell activity and submit regularly to Service Manager
- Control petty cash records and the reconciliation of daily takings
- Regularly review up-sell targets to achieve levels set by Service Manager
- Monitor customer activity and identify potential marketing opportunities
- Monitor merchandising displays and ensure they are kept tidy and up to date
- Ensure customer service reception area is clean, tidy and secure at all times
- Practice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all times
- Report all incidents, injuries and near misses to Service Manager
- Current Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of the automotive industry
- Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures
