Our client is an Australian based company providing top quality service & repairs on commercial transport vehicles and construction equipment. Just Automotive Recruitment are providing assistance in the search for a qualified Senior Mechanic to join the team located in their Rossmore branch.
The Role:
- Working on both trucks and trailers
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff
- Diagnose and repair faults
- Pick and deliver trucks
- Engine overhauls as required
- All general service & repair work
- Transmission servicing & repair
- Completing repairs in the given time-frame
- Offering $36-40 per hour depending on experience
- Full-time permanent position
- Manage a small team of 7
- Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, close-knit team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid experience in repair and maintenance
- A stable work history in a related role highly regarded
- Can work Mon – Friday: 7 – 5.30 pm, 2 hrs overtime a day, be on call on the weekends if possible
