Just Automotive Recruitment is helping in the search for a committed National Parts Manager that will join their team in East Melbourne.
The Job:
- Full responsibility to take the parts sales, interpret and develop relationships
- Inventory management, daily stock orders, managing staff
- Assist in training the parts managers and procurement staff on procurement arrangements
- Manage, coach and lead the team
- Maintain and create solid client relationships
- Automotive or related industrial background would be beneficial.
- Liaise with suppliers
- Manage ongoing parts procurement RFP processes
- Work with the existing procurement teams across the group to ensure maximum synergies
- Proactive management of parts returns and credits, ensuring the branches plan and respond on time and that the suppliers are focused on assisting with the returns process
- Develop and manage positive customer relationships
- Relevant industry experience
- Up to date and valid licenses (car, truck, forklift)
- Experience with business management metrics
- Extensive commercial vehicle parts procurement and sales experience
- Relevant staff management skills and experience, specifically liaising with remote teams
- Management experience

- Inventory control and management skills
- Strong relationship building skills
