Our client is one of the fastest-growing, exciting and dynamic dealership groups in Australia and New Zealand. Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in seeking Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join their service team.
The Job:
- Carry out all service and repair work in line with Manufacturers specification
- Reporting directly to the workshop controller/foreman
- Some customer communication regarding technical issues
- Carry out all Service and Repairs efficiently whilst maintaining high standard of workmanship
- Carry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics
- Recording job cards accurately and carry out correct warranty repair procedures
- Ensure all repair times are recorded accurately
- Keep and maintain safe working bay
- Help mentor and train apprentices when possible
- 2 Shifts available, Day and afternoon [Day 7.30 – 3.30 , Afternoon 2pm-10pm]
- 17%-18% Shift loading , $30-$35 P/hr dep on exp, SAT avail + overtime
The Person:
- Great communication skills
- Ability to comply with OH&S procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
- Trade qualified mechanic
- Will consider light vehicle mechanics looking to up skill
