Our client is a privately owned 100% Australian, trailer and specialized equipment manufacturer producing and selling equipment for many segments of the bulk haulage, waste and services markets. The company takes pride in every project which goes out the door, whether it be a one-off or a large batch of trailers. Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in searching for an experienced Fitter/Mechanic to join their team located in Toowoomba. Trades Assistants are welcome to apply for this role. $30 – 33hr neg.
Duties
- Assembly of new trailers, 12 v wiring
- Work on pneumatic brakes, toolboxes, mudguards and water tanks, the whole braking system
- All the bolt items that go on a trailer
- Minor fabricating if you have the skills
Skills & Experience
- Qualified mechanic/fitter (Heavy vehicle background preferred) / Trades Assistant
- Will consider light vehicle mechanics and similar trades
- Stable work history in a related role
- Enjoys a variety of work
- A consistent, positive attitude towards work
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise own workload
