Our client is an internationally operating group of companies in the construction equipment industry. We are assisting in the search for a skilled Field Service Plant Technician to join the team and help provide field service to their Sydney based clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company for a full-time position!
THE ROLE:
- Field Service across the Sydney
- Attending pmp breakdowns service works
- Mechanical repairs and scheduled maintenance on various machines, predominately specialized road construction machinery
- Completion of service reports
- Identification of parts requirements
- Recommendation of preventative maintenance on equipment
- Completion of in-field diagnosis and repairs
- Completion of warranty repair work and reports
- Management of work orders (including ordering parts) as required
- Could overhaul crushers Swap out worn components
- Start to finish
- Phone gets sent out to jobs
- Can take home bravo or truck with Hiab
- NSW – could be 3-4 hrs.
- Ability to work in a team
- Highly organised
- White card, HR & Forklift license highly desirable
- Qualified light, heavy or plant mechanic
- Experience in a field service role highly regarded
