Our client is a well-known & respected Heavy Vehicle commercial vehicle dealership and Just Automotive Recruitment are providing assistance in the search for a qualified Welder/Fabricator to join the team located in their Macksville branch. With the right attitude, you will have the opportunity to work your way up the ladder within this successful brand.
THE ROLE:
- Working efficiently through multiple stages of the production process
- Operating and assembling production equipment as required
- Quality assessment and assuring on finished products as required
- Operating a forklift
- Mig, Tig and Stick welding
- Welding and assembling
- Using specialist tools to construct customers products
- Fabrication of steel components for material handling applications
- Modifications 60% brand new bodies, 40% repairs and modifications
THE PERSON:
- Relevant qualifications (Welder – Boilermaker – Fabricator)
- Manufacturing and/or workshop experience
- Ability to work within a team
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience in quality assessment procedures highly regarded
- Current forklift license
