Well established business (truck & trailer repairs) needs experienced Service Manager. Respected family owned Australian company. $110 -120k
Our client is a well-established, family owned Company who are looking for an experienced manager to Lead a growing workshop specialising in truck & trailer repairs. This position offers a generous $110 - $120k + fuel card (depending on experience)
The Person:
  • Trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic
  • Experienced in managing a mechanical workshop (truck/trailer experience preferred)
  • Excellent technical background
  • Proven ability to lead and develop staff
  • Well organised and good computer skills
  • Highly focused workplace safety
 The Job:
  • Responsible for planning, organising, and leading the workshop and field service techs (In conjunction with workshop foreman) 8 - 10 technicians
  • Liaising with customers & leasing companies
  • Tracking jobs / progress photos and reporting
  • Working closely with the foreman to ensure the workflow is managed effectively
  • High level technical support / troubleshooting as needed
  • Good reporting skills (weekly / monthly / WIP)
  • Estimating, raising & closing off job cards
