About the role
Embark on a journey with a prominent player in the semi-trailer design industry as a Roadworthy Technician. Your crucial role will involve maintaining the roadworthiness and optimal performance of commercial trucks and trailers, contributing to the company's distinguished legacy.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in commercial truck trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and execute necessary repairs on trailer components.
- Maintain meticulous records of inspections, repairs, and compliance with roadworthiness regulations.
- Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide clear repair recommendations.
- Current Heavy Vehicle Mechanic’s license is required.
- MUST Possess a roadworthy license and relevant experience.
- Proven background as a Truck Trailer Mechanic with extensive knowledge of commercial trailer systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Full-time position located in Laverton.
- Competitive hourly rate of $50 P/H - Overtime may be available.
