Job Description

Our client is one of Australia's leading commercial vehicle dealerships based in Cairns. They are currently looking for a qualified mechanic to join the team, working on light. medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Light vehicle mechanics with heavy vehicle experience may be considered for this role.

The Job:

Working mainly with Light to medium trucks and the odd heavy
Some light vehicle servicing and repairs as required (mainly diesel vehicles)
General repairs, break downs and service work
Some diagnostic work
Working Autonomously within the team
Monday to Thursday (8am to 4:30pm) Friday (8am -3.30pm)

The Person:

Ability to prioritise own workload
Good communication and computer skills
Light or heavy trade qualifications
The ability to work competently unsupervised
Excellent fault finding skills
