Our client has decades of collective experience in trucks and the transport industry. Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in looking for the Light/Heavy Vehicle Mechanics that will join the team in Port Melbourne.
The Job
- Carry out all Services and Repairs efficiently whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- $30 - $40 phr
- Servicing and repairing trucks and other vehicles.
- HV Mechanical repairs
- Carry out all service and repair work in line with the Manufacturer's specification
- Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager.
- Some customer communication regarding technical issues
- Recording job cards accurately and carrying out correct warranty repair procedures
- Ensure all repair times are recorded accurately
- Keep and maintain a safe working bay
- Work on a range of vehicles in a busy workshop with a great team of mechanics
- Focused on supporting the business by repairing and servicing a wide range of assets.
- Preventative Maintenance
- Heavy Vehicle Qualification essential
- Light vehicle qualification essential
- Ability to fault diagnosis and repair unsupervised
- HR license is desirable but not essential
- Team attitude and ability to problem solve
- Good communication skills and taking pride in quality workmanship
- Maintaining a safe & organized work environment
