- Provide a high level of diagnostic and technical onsite support to Dealers, Fleet and other customers. (via Onsite, Tech Support Portal, phone and email).
- Track and analyse the flow of technical enquiries to identify process improvement opportunities, highlight trends and identify training opportunities.
- Constantly upgrade knowledge by attending internal/external product and other training.
- Coordinate all in-field investigations
- Coordinate the return of failed parts to the manufacturer as required
- Manage diagnostic system
- Construct detailed technical reports and bulletins as required.
- Ongoing training and development
- Heavy vehicle experience or light vehicle Master technician level.
- Leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Available to travel overseas or interstate at short notice
- Computer literacy to an intermediate level Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to liaise effectively at all levels of an organization
- Minimum five (5) years experience in the automotive/heavy vehicle industry & Trade qualification.
