Our client is an Australian business specializing in sales, service, parts, fleet management, AdBlue, and finance across the entire range of trucks and buses. Just Automotive Recruitment is in search of an experienced Service Advisor that will join their team in Derrimut. You will act as the primary contact between the company and the customers for all aftersales requirements, repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate interpretation and prompt resolution of customer needs.
The Person:
- Relevant trade qualifications or demonstrated industry business administration experience
- Retail inventory experience in automotive or related industry
- Knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures
- Trade qualified or high level of mechanical knowledge
- Exceptional computer literacy

- Greet and assist customers in person or by phone and determine the customer’s needs and vehicle data
- Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining suitable records
- Present service offers to customers, and offer additional services, benefits and/or parts at every opportunity
- Meet up-sell targets as set by Customer Service Manager
- Ensure future bookings have all outstanding recalls and manufacturer updates added to job cards
- Produce accurate invoices on time ensuring clear explanation of works completed
- Ensure OSP plans have been completed for all new vehicles going into service working with the Account Manager
- Review quality and ensure accuracy of customer, vehicle and billing details, correcting if required
- Maintain sound working relationships with all members of the service department
- Participate in training & development activities as arranged
- Work closely with the New Truck Sales
- Maintain accurate customer fleet data and records, reporting regularly to Service Manager
- Prompt and accurate follow up on all servicing and repairs ensuring timely communication to customers
- Practice and promote company WHS policies and processes at all times
