Mechanic - Fitter wanted for workshop and field svc role - Maintaining Mobile Cranes & hydraulic equipment. 1 flexi day per month $35 - 40ph Negotiable. Permanent position!
Our client is a Leading provider with a workshop based in the St Marys area. We are providing assistance in the search for a qualified mechanic / fitter to take a varied role – both workshop and field service. Light vehicle mechanics with decent Hydraulic & Electrical skills will be considered.

The Person:
- Trade qualified Fitter or Mechanic
- Light / Heavy or Mechanical fitters welcome
- Experience with service and repairs to a range of equipment, (mobile cranes, brakes, suspension, Hook Lifts)
- Strong hydraulic experience
- Stable work history & the ability to work efficiently when unsupervised
- Prepared to do both workshop and field services
- Good written and verbal communication
- Assess, diagnose and carry out repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic issues
- Fit up and repair of PTO
- Rebuilding Split shaft gear boxes
- Servicing & Rebuilds
- Repairs on tug boats, winches & steering systems
- Basic welding
- Training provided
- This is a full-time – Permanent position!
- 7am to 3:30pm with overtime, occasional Saturday shift
