Just Automotive Recruitment is in search of an experienced Auto Electrician that will join the team based at NSW.
What we offer:
- 1 full time position/s available
- $65,000 - $90,000 PA depending on experience
- Location: NSW
- Previous experience in a similar role, having worked on commercial vehicles
- Trade qualification in Auto Electrician
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a valid forklift license preferred but not essential
- Available to travel to various locations when needed.
- Knowledge and experience of modern heavy vehicle and trailer electrical and electronic systems.
- Be self-motivated and work in a professional manner.
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Accurately note and complete service repair orders
- Carry out service and repairs according to manufacturers specification
- Complete electrical fit out to new vehicle / trailer builds
- Attend electrical breakdowns if required
- Ensure all installations, service and repairs are accurately documented and to quality standards
- EBS brake system maintenance
- Strong Knowledge of electrical Systems
- Experience with heavy vehicles is highly regarded
Duties
- General electrical repairs on heavy vehicles and some light commercial vehicles.
- Electronic diagnostics, circuit testing, scan tool use.
- Some maintenance on Scania trucks
- Air conditioning service and repairs
- Options to do field work also.
Expectations of employee
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all company and local laws safe work practices.
- Always present yourself in a good and tidy manner
- Be able to complete all admin aspects of the position including, collecting vehicle data, time clocking, job stories and when needed follow warranty protocols.
- Follow ARC air conditioning protocols.
- Have and hold an Australian or international class C driver's license.
Expectations of employer
- We will provide a safe working environment with access to scan tools, specialized tooling, and vehicle repair information.
- We will provide additional training in house and through our franchisees.
- We have a 40 hour work/pay week with a RDO roster.
- Employment will be full time with entitlements.
- We will provide work uniforms.
- We will provide 1x adequate car (on loan) to be used for commuting and Amos Mususa will supply fuel for it at their cost.
- We will provide adequate living arrangements with the weekly or monthly rent and living expenses to be paid for by employees.
