About the role
Are you a seasoned bookkeeper with a passion for accuracy and organization? On offer is a part-time role within one of Echuca’s award-winning businesses, known for its supportive and collaborative environment.
Duties
- Enter sales orders and purchases, conduct bank reconciliations, and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with payroll, timesheets, and other HR tasks
- Oversee office management tasks, including personnel, customer, and supplier records, insurance, and vehicle fleet management
- Provide front-office support, handling inquiries via reception and phone
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong bookkeeping background
- Previous experience in BAS preparation and or completion (BAS Agent status advantageous)
- Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to handle competing deadlines
- Automotive industry background is highly desirable
- Experience with Automation Premium software is a plus
- Must have a VIC Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle
- Competitive hourly rate: $35.00 + super
- Flexible, permanent part-time schedule – work 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri), 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
