We are on the search for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Leading Hand to join the team located in the Dandenong area. This Brand New, state of the art workshop specializes in top quality Semi-Trailers. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with Foreman Experience, though we will consider a skilled technician looking for that next step.

The Job:

Afternoon shift supervisor $80,000-$85,000 + 12% shift load. Mon – Friday: 2pm-10pm
50% on the tools, 50% admin and supervising
All workshop-based work
Admin: ordering parts, sending the invoice, working on timesheet
Service and Repairs on Semi-Trailers

Build relationships & recommend preventative maintenance to customers

The Person:

Somebody with a strong drive
Qualified diesel / Heavy Vehicle mechanic (looking for that next step?)
Diagnosis and fault-finding skills
Strong communication skills & Ability to work within a team
Ability to keep a clean & organised workplace
Truck licence and pink and blue slip highly desirable
Stable work history in a related role highly regarded
Ability to allocate & prioritise workload
Organised with good computer skills
